I’m Kristen Nichols, proprietress of Milkmaid Press, and those four adorable cats are Gracie, Neko, Lil Man and Isabella, my furry, feline partners in crime. Around the office, Gracie and Neko are known as “The Ladies who Lunch,” since most of their activity revolves around procuring treats. Lil Man is responsible for in-office entertainment, lunch inspection, paper shredding and love guru. Isabella has put herself in charge of quality control, snuggling and shipping regulations. Me, I’m in charge of everything else. I began Milkmaid Press back in 2006 after spending several years at Ad Agencies and Design firms as an Art Director, and turned to Letterpress in 2007 after getting married myself and falling in love with the printing method. I bought a centuries old Golding Press and started down the wonderful road of weddings and stationery. I started the Luxury for Less line of invitations as a response to the ever-changing needs of the modern bride. I believe that no one should have to sacrifice quality and style because of time or budget. We’re a small design firm, and want to keep it that way, but we hope to always be growing and evolving with what we offer, originality and creativity. I’ve worked as a photographer, designer, retoucher, art director, creative director, freelance pinch hitter, branding specialist and beyond, which is why Milkmaid Press is also a one-stop design firm dedicated to providing businesses with the best branding & creative value in addition to our myriad paper creations. At Milkmaid Press, my goal is a happy, satisfied client who is thrilled with my work. I love what I do, and I want you to love what I do for you!
